FCCS does not accept government funds, grants or vouchers, or other assistance through which acceptance would in any way compromise our ability to maintain our core values of faith.
We limit our class/grade size to twelve students. On rare occasion, we add siblings to that number so families can enroll all of their children.
We are not accredited by the state because we do not wish to have the State involved in our policies or curriculum. However, it is our goal to be accredited by a Christian organization.
Students bring sack lunches from home for their daily meal. Microwaves are available.
After-school care is available for students in grades pre-K through grade 5. Cost is $6 per day and extends no later than 6 PM.
Our school began working with students in grades 6-12 and was Monday through Thursday only. This gave our pastor-teachers a two-day weekend with their families. Those older students were given extra work to do at home for their fifth day of the week. We began adding Friday for younger students to give them a full five days of instruction, with the knowledge they cannot stay home alone on Fridays.
Students in intermediate grades (4th and 5th) will stay with the classes in the elementary building on Fridays to do their extra work. They will get to participate in group activities, games, recess, and field trips with the younger students on those days.
FCCS provides the opportunity to ease the burden of tuition for families in need. Applications for scholarships are available through the office.
We have a registration fee of $150. Late registration rates apply.
We also have a resource fee (tech and book fee combined). That is $250 per semester. This includes a yearbook and agenda/planner book.
Current families may enroll as early as February 1st. This includes siblings of current students.
New families may enroll beginning March 1st.
Enrollment is open as long as we have spots available, with the exception of August. We freeze our enrollment in August so teachers may properly prepare for the start of the year and get their classes settled before admitting new students. Enrollment begins again September 1st.
Teachers provide this list in time for our orientation several weeks prior to school starting. Students in grades 4-12 will need a Chrome book or laptop for their classes.
