The educators at Faith Community Christian School are incredibly dedicated people who have the gift of teaching. Many have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Others have degrees in education or have years of teaching experience. Our team of educators truly cares about their students. We strive to create community and school-family relationships. Most of all, we are passionate about Jesus. This kind of committed faculty brings a special level of excellence to every subject they teach. Jesus is at the heart of everything we do!
Every student has gifts and talents from our Creator. Faith Community Christian School uses an exciting and established curriculum to ensure your student’s success. Pre-K through grade 3 center around the ABEKA curriculum, while grades 4 - 12 use a variety of high-quality courses designed to prepare your child for life. We partner online classes with Acellus to create a personalized curriculum for every student. Classes range from dual-credit college courses, Advanced Placement, and Honors to vocational classes through Acellus and/or C-9. We are dedicated to your student’s education.
We can offer or connect you to a wide variety of extracurricular activities. We have had students join other small Christian school teams for track and cross country seasons, as well as local homeschool leagues for soccer and football/cheer. Some years we have had enough students interested to have our own teams, including girl's volleyball, co-ed soccer, golf, and basketball for both boys and girls. Faith does its best to have options that cater to every student's interests. Our clubs and teams provide excellent opportunities to try new things!
Formerly known as Southside Christian School, FCCS is now a ministry of its parent church, Faith Community Christian. We are partnering with others for our students as we reach them for Christ. Over a decade of experience speaks for itself!
